COVID-19 Update 5.20.2020

Dear CCVC Members,

In this time of uncertainty and a new way of life the board would like to emphasize the importance of staying away from the lake.

Mike and Ted have been in discussion with Peter on when the water system can be turned on at CCVC. It turns out the decision is not up to us. With the Federal and State restrictions in place Peter will not be able to have the water system up and running until the end of the month at the soonest. Warren County, the LGA and other organizations are asking summer residents to refrain from going up to the area to help keep the virus from spreading and overwhelming the limited capacity of the hospitals in the area.

Below are links to some websites for COVID-19 protocols for the our beloved Lake George region:

Town of Hague: https://townofhague.org/news/?q=detail&nid=82

Warren County: http://www.warrencountyny.gov/COVID/ (specifically for seasonal homeowners)

In addition, NY State has enacted state-wide protocols, which are changing daily.  One source includes the NY State Department of Health: Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) – NYC Health

The board will let you know as soon as we receive information as to when the water will be turned on and when we can all return to the lake

In the mean time please follow federal, state and local protocols in your area, so we can all remain safe and well and be able to return to the lake.

Sincerely,

Karen Spano
